Good to know

Why professional carpet cleaning pays off

A carpet is far more than a floor covering: it creates comfort, defines a room – and is often a genuine asset. At the same time it works as a filter every day, trapping dust, pollen and fine dirt deep in the pile. Regular vacuuming only reaches the surface. When colours look dull, walkways start to show or odours linger, a professional deep clean is the right choice.

At Clean & Fresh, carpet care has been our craft for three generations. Before every clean we examine material, weave and colour fastness – a hand-knotted wool Persian demands a different approach than a modern synthetic rug. On that basis we select cleaning agents and methods that protect fibres and colours and restore your carpet’s full depth of colour.

Our spray extraction is considered one of the most thorough methods available: the cleaning solution is sprayed deep into the pile under pressure and extracted again in the same pass, together with the dissolved dirt. This removes not only visible stains but also allergens, dust mites and odours – and thanks to powerful extraction, your carpet is walkable again quickly.

Carpet cleaning FAQs

How long does the carpet need to dry?

Depending on material and room climate, the carpet is usually walkable again after a few hours. We use powerful extraction that removes most of the moisture immediately.

Can delicate oriental rugs be cleaned too?

Yes – this is precisely our strength. We have cared for fine oriental and Persian rugs for three generations. Material, weave and colour fastness are checked beforehand and the method adapted accordingly.

Do you clean on site or collect the carpet?

Both are possible: fitted carpets are cleaned directly at your premises. For loose rugs we are happy to arrange collection and return delivery.

Can you remove every stain?

A great many – but we never promise what we cannot deliver. Fresh stains can almost always be removed completely; for older or set-in stains we give you an honest assessment up front.

How often should a carpet be professionally cleaned?

As a rule of thumb we recommend every one to two years – more often with heavy use, pets or allergy sufferers in the household. Regular deep cleaning significantly extends a carpet’s life.

What does carpet cleaning cost?

The price depends on size, material and degree of soiling. Briefly describe your carpet and you will promptly receive a free, no-obligation quote with a fair fixed price.
